ISO 20121 is an international standard that certifies the ethical and responsible management of events.
Committed to improving its environmental and social impact, the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourism and Convention Office has reoriented its management system towards an ambition of sustainable development concerning both the organisation of events for the general public, including the JAZZ À JUAN festival, and the operation of the ANTIPOLIS Convention Centre and AZURARENA ANTIBES Sports Centre.
The Tourist and Convention Office is committed to acting, uniting and innovating in the consideration of environmental and social issues, in particular with regard to the climate emergency. Aware of its responsibility to set an example before all stakeholders involved in its activities, it has defined its sustainable-development policy to ensure excellence in the quality of its services, accessibility to all audiences, the reduction of its environmental footprint, support for the public and its partners in adopting more environmentally friendly practices and the improvement of its teams’ quality of life at work.
At the beginning of December 2022, the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourist and Convention Office (TCO) obtained ISO 20121 certification for all its events activities. As a result, Antibes Juan-les-Pins is the first certified destination in the Côte d’Azur.
