The myth of Sisyphus

Performance adapted from the work of Albert Camus by the Cie Pierre Martot - Théâtre de Sisyphe, with the collaboration of Jean-Claude Fall.

In this myth that comes to us from the ancient Greek, Sisyphus was condemned by the gods to roll, for eternity, a rock to the top of a mountain. Each time the stone reaches the top of the mountain, it falls back down by its own weight and Sisyphus must go down in the plain to raise it up to the top. In reality, Sisyphus is the man. And the rock is his destiny.
"This is the first time that this work of Albert Camus is presented at the theatre. What made me want to embark on this somewhat crazy adventure is simply the beauty of the text and the generosity of the thought that drives it".
