Free drone show - January 1st in Juan-les-Pins
The City of Antibes Juan-les-Pins is delighted to invite the population to attend the drone show organized on January 1st at 6:00 p.m. on the public beach of Juan-les-Pins. Lasting 13 minutes, this show promises wonder and magic.
In order to guarantee the safety of spectators and the smooth running of the event, a secure perimeter will be set up, extending from rue Sainte-Marguerite to rue Saint-Honorat. Access to the public beach will be prohibited in this area, with the exception of the side of rue Sainte-Marguerite.
To allow for logistical operations, parking will be prohibited from Tuesday, December 31 at 6:00 p.m. until Wednesday, January 1 at 10:00 p.m. on Boulevard Guillaumont, on the sea side, between Rue Sainte-Marguerite and Rue des Îles. On Wednesday, January 1, parking will also be prohibited from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the same boulevard, between Rue des Îles and Rue Saint-Honorat. In addition, traffic will be prohibited within the protected perimeter from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., except for emergency vehicles. Residents of condominiums included in this perimeter will be able to circulate between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., but beyond this time, all entrances and exits will be blocked to ensure the complete sealing of the area. These measures will be brought to the attention of the residents concerned through a display produced by the Tourist and Convention Bureau. Finally, vehicles traveling on Boulevard du Littoral must turn left at Rue Sainte-Marguerite.
Access checks to the show will begin at 4:30 p.m. at strategic points located on Boulevard Guillaumont, Rue Saint-Honorat and Rue Sainte-Marguerite. These checks will include a visual inspection of bags and the use of magnetic rackets. Bicycles and scooters (except for children), as well as alcohol, will be strictly prohibited in the secure perimeter.
To limit the inconveniences related to parking, flyers will be placed on the vehicles concerned the day before, and a nautical brigade will monitor the coastline. The reopening of the roads will be carried out on the orders of the National Police.
We thank the residents and visitors for their understanding and cooperation, and hope that this show will offer a unique and memorable moment to all.
It is important to note that in the event of bad weather, no postponement date is planned. -
