Dans les bois - Exhibition

Pauline Kalioujny is a French and Russo-Ukrainian artist, illustrator and author. Through this exhibition, she unfolds her captivating universe for the young and the adults.
Trained at the Paris school of decorative arts, Pauline Kalioujny writes and illustrates albums while also practicing engraving, drawing and painting. In her books, she likes to work on the links between word, image and nature. She observes and draws animals of all kinds, developing a repertoire of personal shapes, colors and symbols. Among his most recognised albums are "Un jardin en hiver", "Promenons-nous dans les bois" at Thierry Magnier, "Mon beau sapin" au Seuil Jeunesse or more recently, "L'isba de la mouche" at Manga.
The exhibition invites you to discover the work of Pauline Kalioujny by adding a rich material: original drawings and research sketches, linocuts, paintings... All these elements of different formats immerse us in the forest appreciating its density, its richness and its mystery.
