Laurent Kupferman took an active part in the entrance to the Pantheon of Josephine Baker by launching the petition "Dare Josephine". Since 2016, he has been Director of Communication at the French Sesame Autism Federation since 2016 and member of the Clermont Massif central 2028 Scientific and Cultural Committee.
Laurent Kupferman has been an Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters since 2021.
Brian Bouillon-Baker was adopted by Josephine Baker and Jo Bouillon in 1957.
An artist and writer, he wrote "Joséphine Baker, l'universelle" - Éditions du Rocher and campaigned for his mother’s entry into the Pantheon.
