Ciné-concert : Le Grand Bleu

On May 11th, 1988, Luc Besson’s Le Grand Bleu was released at the cinema.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film, two exceptional performances were held at La Seine Musicale in May 2018. On the strength of this first success, the Grand Bleu cinema-concert was able to tour in France, Belgium and Switzerland in 2022. In total more than 70,000 spectators have already attended this fabulous show.
To extend the adventure and celebrate the 35 years of Luc Besson’s cult film, Eris Serra and his musicians are pleased to announce 3 concerts in summer 2023, in prestigious outdoor venues under the stars.
They invite us to rediscover this essential work of French cinema, which they interpret on stage identically during the screening of the film, for an exceptional immersive experience.
Soundtrack of all superlatives (Victoire then César of the best film music, many gold and platinum discs with more than three million sold copies, etc.), Eric Serra’s music perfectly captures the deepest feelings of the film’s hero, Jean-Marc Barr in the role of Jacques Mayol, but also his sensations during the dives.
Music is a vector of emotions and Eric Serra understood it by offering the public his best scores.
A movie soundtrack will never have had as much soul as in Le Grand Bleu.
