    Big cat sleeping on a comfortable cushion, or carrying young kittens in their basket, photographers and illustrators have delivered us many images.
    We find these illustrations on postcards and on wall calendars distributed by letter carriers. In these two cases these are images that will remain in exposure for several months (especially for calendars). We must admit that these animal scenes have a soothing power, even beneficial for the viewer.
    Apart from any religious or political afterthoughts, the presence of animals that accompany our daily life has something reassuring.
