"Plié" artisanal binding

"Plié" is a brand of young, fresh and 100% French handmade notebooks and stationery. The notebooks are entirely handmade in a nice workshop in Antibes by its creator Valeria Duarte. As a graphic designer with an artist’s soul, the world of notebooks is a universe of possibilities. On the one hand we have the binding, a methodical, specific and very particular know-how and at the same time we have the style of the book and its covers where the limit is the infinite. A notebook is a medium that allows us, as a creator, to apply a multitude of techniques without borders. One of the characteristics of this brand is diversity. I make a range of different bindings and on cardboard I also vary enormously the techniques applied: marbled paper, glue paper, stamps, collage, gilding, images, perforated cardboard, dry sheets, recycling, weaving paper, origami, drawing.
