Philippe Gavin set anchor in the old Antibes where his workshop-gallery is open to the public. Self-taught
painter and sailor, he has been involved for several years in the classic Yachts regattas aboard the most
beautiful boats and notably he sails on Twiga, the flagship ship of the Yacht Club of Monaco. His getaways
on the water feed his work. His dual competence as Yachtman regatier and painter of the sea, allows him to
transparently restore an atmosphere that connoisseurs like to find in his work. Construction of the scenes,
purity of the lines, it revisits and refreshes the marine genre with this fabulous technique that is
watercolour. His work is also recognized on the other side of the Atlantic and the English Channel where he
    regularly exposes.
Philippe also has his “secret garden” : his earthly side, he who also loves vegetation, a source of inspiration,
in which he explores other more interior paths.
Workshop open until 11:30pm in summer.
