Didier Saba - Glass blower (master)

The art of creating by the hand and breath of the master glassmaker, of mixing volumes and colors, all in
harmony, to give life to matter by fire, sand and glass.
Master glassmaker, Didier Saba works in the pure artistic tradition of blown glass. his unique pieces are
decorated with colourful inclusion of metallic oxides (gold and silver leaves) and enamels.
For many years he has been interested in art, its history and design. His work involves various techniques
that allow him to vary styles. Since his earliest childhood, he has always been permeated with the world of
glass makers through the work of his father and his grandfather who worked at Biot’s glass factory. He made
his debut in Vallauris and in 1999 he joined his father in Biot to create his own models and develop his
creativity in art glassware. Since 2016, he has been installed in Antibes.
